To make this easier on myself, I removed the tank and placed it on an apple box. Both fuel lines should flow evenly, without dribbles.

I would replace it with a Pingel manual petcock (see here Power-Flo™ Fuel Valves ). Cut off and plug the vacuum line near the nipple on the manifold.
