WebThe DT990s have a recessed midrange but it's not excessive. Vocals seem a bit too quiet but still sound good. The mids have a sort of airy quality to them that iI really love. It makes everything sound less full but makes them sound clearer. If you don't like hot, sparkly treble, they're not for you.
